Hello, I bought a JDM 4age silvertop, my installation mechanic have removed the oil pan and he saw the oil sludge in the oil pump and oil line in the engine. He says that the engine has to be replaced with warranty. In other words, the engine will blow up if we install it and start the car. My other guy at BSP says, no, install the engine and start the car with some oil it will go ok. Before buying we have checked the engines compression and i have put my finger to see if there is sludge under the oil cap. Yes there were sludge ,but everyone is saying that it is not a problem. What should I do. Please help start the car. I dont want to clean the engine and replace parts. That is a 2000$ and more I dont want that.

If the galleys are clogged with oil sludge as well as pump, then you may have a problem.

I would change oil pumps, clean as much sludge as you can.
