How many man hours would be involved in replacing a clutch for this vehicle?
Can it be done without removing the engine or transmission from the vehicle?
What special tools or equipment would be required?
Is this a reasonable Do It Yourself project for someone who has changed a couple of clutches on rear wheel drive vehicles 30-35 years ago?

Transmission would have to come out.

You could either suspend engine and remove trans, or remove entire powertrain.

Depending on skill, it would normally take 8-12 hours.

I normally take entire engine/trans out (easier for me), but all shops would suspend engine and remove trans.

No special tools I can thing of other that clutch alignment too, which comes with new clutch.

REPLACE REAR MAIN SEAL, while trans is out.
