1991 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Automatic

i love my car. well my friend mess up the door. i dont know what he did. it wont open out side but you could open inside. the back left door by the way. so we tried to fix it. i saw a children safety switch thingy at the door. so i put it lock. i thought it was the problem so i close the door,now the door wont open from both side. what should i do? i dont want to tell my parents.

The child safety lock prevents the door from being opened from the inside. So if the outside handle is broke, you will not be able to open the door.

You will have to buy a replacement outside handle and install it. They are available at most autoparts stores.

You will have to remove the inside door panel to get to the handle.
Since the door won't open, you can try to open the other door and remove the seat, but you may have to use some pliers and break the bad handle from the outside. Once removed grasp the rod and pull to open the door.
