CAR TEMPERATURE GOES UP REALLY HIGH, BELIEVE IT IS THE THERMOSTAT THAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. WHERE IS IT LOCATED?

follow the lower radiator hose back to the engine and thats where the thermostat housing should be.

On this engine it is lower hose that connects to thermostat housing directly under distributor.
Use a Toyota part and make sure the thermostat weep hole is pointing at 11:00 when installed, replace thermostat seal.
