Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 113k miles
Check engine light showed up and I had my mechanic check the DTC codes. They were 21, 31,41 (OBD I). Something to do with O2 sensor, Air flow meter signal, and throttle position sensor. He indicated cost to repair in the neighborhood of 4-5 hundred dollars. I chose to wait and decide. A couple of days later I had to fill car with gas and noticed later that MIL light was out and has not come back on yet after approx 75 miles. My 1st question is why did light go out? and will it likely come on again?
Also, I had the A/C charged with freon and on the ride home noticed that the brake and battery light were coming on intermittently then going out. Was this caused by A/C repair? If so or not what is the fix for the problem?
