I recently removed the driver and passenger half shafts and noticed oil soothing out. My question is where do you replace the oil that soothed out? There are a drain and a fill plugs located at the drivers side of the trans. Is this the fill and drain for the trans or driveshaft? What kind lubricant do I use? Im asking, because all over the net has some contradicting answers about what type of lubricant to use. Well I hope someone can answer my wuestions. thanks in advance.

Hi there,

The filler plug is on the front of the transmission, fill till just dribbles out of plug hole and use 80W 90 gear oil. the trans and diff are combined on this transmission.

Thanks for the response and help. I had a fit trying to figure out where the diff drain and fill is at. This answered my question.
