1989 Toyota Corolla distributor problem

hi i would really appreciate if you guy can help me.
i have a 1989 toyota coupe and the millage was about 114000, as a daily basis open my hood and check for peoblem and yeah there was a spark comming just on the surface on the distributor where the wires were, i am not really sure if it was a spark plug/distributor problems or which need a replacement. it started about two days ago and i dont know to do please help........

Hi there,

Replace the cap, rotor and leads, this is a common problem, the cap will have a crack in it, and the voltage is tracking along the crack to earth.

Hi there, if they have not been changed in a long time i would be doing these as well, but if they are newish don't bother.
