When I put my vehicle in gear, mainly first gear, and begin to slowly start moving i hear a subtle click/tick noise. This also occurs in reverse, a little louder. My vehicle has had a new clutch kit installed and flywheel. The car drives fine, shifts fine, although if you do not downshift properly allowing the car to jerk, you hear that same click/tick noise. Its very subtle and unnoticeable if all windows are up. Maybe I'm just very picky. Also, after this click/tick noise occurs in 1st or reverse, it will not occur again in that same gear unless you put it back into neutral and in 1st or reverse again.
