Thjs has been a great car with very few things going wrong however just recently an occasional knocking on front driver side. Some smoke fromunder bonnet. Had a look under car, there is a collar about 8cm diameter and 3cm wide 5mm thick just free to slide along axle drive shaft to wheel (apart from joiner linkage). Could you tell me where the collar belongs (I suspect the engine side of shaft) and can it just be pushed back into place. What do I need to do to stop it from coming loose again?
