I've ckecked the brake lines and did not notice any leakage.

i would first bleed all 4 wheels to see if air somehow got in there

Thanks, I will do just that as soon as I can get my mate to help me pump the brake padles while I bleed the brakes.

Hi,
I had to change the Master Cylinder due to a slow leakage. I bleed all four brakes as you suggested and the brakes are OK , though a little bit soft. I may have to bleed them again to get the correct resisitance from the brake padale. Right now it is going all the way to the floor.
