Hello, I own a 1995 Toyota Celica 1.8 ST which runs on a 7A-FE engine (UK spec). It has done 78,000 on the clock. I have just fitted in a K&N indiction kit and am wondering if this would make any differences? If so, what differences would it make and how much bhp increase would it gain? Many Thanks!

Hi there,

Performance induction kits can increase net power, it will aid in better engine breathing, some claim cooler air intake, cooler denser air will improve performance, You may already have noticed how better you car tends to run on cooler days. The only way to accurately check net gain is to have the car run on a chassis dyno. this will give you all the technical info you want, accurately. one down side is that they can tend to have a higher induction noise, which can be quite annoying.:D
