2002 Toyota Celica misfire

after a front end fender bender the engine runs very low
rpms to the point of stalling. Ran diagnostic and the codes say all cylinders are misfiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

I would start with a thorough look at the area that was impacted by the crash and see if anything looks broken, wires pinched, connector damage or disconnected.

If nothing shows we can component test.

What code number (s) exactly. P0 300?

The pcm is up by the battery. The misfire codes are a symptom of the 1300 codes (igniters) The p115 isn't familiar. Based on the impact of the collision and misfores and igniter problems all the way across the board I would stat looking at the pcm. Pull the connectors and get a look for any corossion or damage. PCM may have damage from the impact.

More info as requested.

P0115 has one of three sources:
1-bad ECM
2-bad engine coolant temp sensor
3-short in engine coolant temp circuit.

With that is another nail in the coffin for the ECM, maybe the source of this is in the ECT causing a rich condition and the misfires? May not explain the igniters though.


IF this was p115, then ignore the top.


I'll sending charts for troubleshooting the igniters. In the meantime verify the p115 or p0115

Hi marble42,

Try checking for a bad ground, would cause the PCM to go haywire.
