i changed the thermostat, flished the radiator, the going more than 65 mph, the gauge needle moves up a line or two. if i turn the heater on the needle drops. when i turn the heater off, the needle climbs again?

the heater core is like a mini radiator, and when you turn on the fans it cools off the fluid making it run cooler, it will go up a little bit, when the heater is off, its normal.
