1990 Toyota Celica Rear lights goes out

So when I step on my brakes on the car I notice the right signal lights up. When the right signal lights up my brake like in the rear dims down, but only the right side. Also when i put the car in reverse it also dims my right side of the light down. When i step on the brake in reverse the whole right side just blacks out, but my signal lights up. so at night you could see my parking lights, but when i step on the brakes my right side just dims down so how could fix this problem?

Thank you for the donation.

You have a bad ground for the taillights at the rear right taillights. If you had just done any paintwork repairs at rear, remove the bolt holding the ground wire and clean the point before retightening the bolt.

If no repairs had been done, check for loose or corroded ground wire connections.
