As Razamataz suggested I read the resistantance of the water temp. sensor, cold it reads 2.5 as it warms up it drops to 0.2 completely warm, I am trying to diagnose error code 22 on a 1987 toyota camry 108,000 miles, auto, 4cyl, if Raz is still there or anyone with an idea please help

The sensor is good-now remove the EFI fuse for 10sec or better-place back in-start vehicle is it still there. Comeback and I'll give you more headaches. I'm here now
