I have a 1992 Camry XLE I just noticed that after driving a while and I come to a stop I have smoke coming from the passanger side of the engine. Once I got home I lifted the hood to find that where I fill my radiator there is some sort of hose that radiator vapors was coming out of attached to the cap itself. What do I do to stop this? I have added radiator fluid to it in hopes it was just low but it still does it.

[quote:c72e3099bc="backyardmechanic"][quote:c72e3099bc="backyardmechanic"]Your question has my a little confussed but what I think you are referring to is the overflow hose from the raditor to the overflow tank. Sounds like this hose has come off the tank and is just lying under the hood. All you need to do is locate the overflow tank and reconnect the hose. It will either have a hose clamp that you can tighten with a screwdriver or it will just slip on. While you are at it make sure the coolant level is correct. The tank is most likely in the front of the engine compartment on the left or right fender well. Good luck hope this helps :)[/quote:c72e3099bc][/quote:c72e3099bc]
