2004 Toyota Camry Front End Noise/Clunk

I hear a clunk noise from front end of my 2004 Toyota Camry LE. Noise only occurs at low speed and only while turning either way. I only have 50K miles on this car.
Ideas please......

take it to a mechanic you trust, this could be dangerous.
i drive a camry with 310,000 miles on it & we have a 92 camry with 190,000 miles on it. we've never had a noise like that, let alone at 50,000 miles !
did you ever have a front end collision with this car?
