a bit of warm air comes out even if the thermostat dial is pointed to Blue (cold).[img:9dac890f61]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/185876_IMG_0028_1.jpg[/img:9dac890f61][img:9dac890f61]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/185876_IMG_0028_2.jpg[/img:9dac890f61]

sorry mate! i did not state the problem clearly. when my A/C is turned off & i just want the air coming from outside as my source. normally cold air comes in as long as the thermo dial is pointing to the blue(cool) indicator and warm air comes in if it is turned towards the red(warm) indicator.

I recon something inside the thermo dial mechanism broke & it doesn't properly seals off when i select a particular temperature.

Toyota gave me a price estimate not less than Aussie $ 1000 & can even go up to $2000, if they have to take down the whole dashboard to get into the site of the problem.
