This happened twice recently, both in rain condition. The car appeared lost power steering all of sudden when making a turn. It was very dangerous one time when I pulled into gas station. It won't turn right and I almost hit the pump. The break also had a "click" sound when releasing and accelerating won't happen until really pushing down the gas. Then the car jumped out. Any thought?

If it is steering belt slipping, the steering should turn but the car won't. It is not the case for me, I could only turn the steering a little. It was "stuck".
