Hello – Not knowing your skill level and the tools you have or the conditions you will be working under makes this a little difficult. As for the repair, you can look the valve covers and see how much stuff is on top of them. The actual task isn’t that bad. It is more tedious than anything else. You need to clean the area really good also. I would give yourself 8 hours at least to work at a nice pace, allow for removal, a good cleaning and prep, installation and clean up of the area.
