My car is operating in unbelieval condition as I have taken good care of it since I own it in 1997.

I was advised by Toyota dealer to change the timing belt, asn water pump, front engine seals. There are no problems at all, just for the sake of the safety. The quoted price is $260+$322+$203=$785.

My timing belt was replaced when it 70000 miles. I agree to change the timing belt. Do you think it is necessary to change other two as well? Is the price reasonable?

Thank you very much for your advice.

With 190k miles I would for sure advice to do the suggested repair suppose you had to replace the pump in a month or so its going to be double the price because they have to rip the timing belt out again and also same goes for the seals as for the price its a reasonable dealer price and I am sure you can fined cheaper price if you look around in the independent market

Hi Jack,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Will the independent market be trustable? Thanks.
