I have all my taillights on and the left rear brake light works when the brake is depressed but not the right rear. I replaced the wiring harness to the right rear that I was told had a short but this did not resolve the problem. What else should I be checking before I just go to a shop and pay for electrical troubleshooting?

Hi Huahoa,

Thank you for the donation.

If you have a test lamp, get an asistant to depress the brakes while you test the bulb connector for presence of voltage. If voltage is present, remove the brake bulb check if it is bad. Check the bulb socket for contaminiations and try swapping the bulb with the left and retest.
