1992 Toyota Camry spark plug wire

A few different things can cause this. Since it is only happening to one cylinder I would suggest replacing that spark plug and wire with a known good one to see if it helps. If the plug is not seated properly or the washer of the plug may be damaged. Post results and I will follow up.

i just bought this car about three weeks ago and i have found that one of the spark plug wires keeps working its way up and almost out of the top of the engine and starts to miss like crazy. what the hell is causing the plug wire to come off the plug and out the top of the engine???[/quote:7334e2119e] checked spark plug and wire, all seems well but plug was loose. have tightened it up and will keep an eye on it to be sure the treads are not stripped in the head,an expense i do not need right now. thanks for the advice
