When I bought the car the ABS light was on. Codes said to replace FrontLeft/RearRight ABS wheel speed sensors. I did and codes cleared, ABS light is off. I thought the brake pedal was always a little spongy but after the sensor replacemnt the brake pedal travels nearly to the floor before any braking occurs. (Now the brake pedal might have been that way before the fix but it seems much worse after the fix.) I bled all wheels and found that the FrontRight and RearLeft bleed just fine; but I get no fluid to the FL/RR calibers when I push down on the brake pedal. I removed the FL/RR brake lines from the ABS actuator, fitted them with tubing and was able to get a siphon going to the FL/RR caliper bleed ports using a bottle of brake fluid. By bypassing the ABS actuator I was able to get the FL/RR calipers to drip fluid from their respective bleed ports. Any ideas why I can't bleed FL/RR calipers when their lines are attached to the ABS actuator?

Bleeding your ABS system is the same as bleeding a non ABS system, as long as you pump the power assist out and dont turn on the key, or unplug anything...Start at the rear wheels because from your story it seems you need to check the wheel cylinders, and the adjustment. If it disc in back see if any fluid leaks out of the dust boot. This is a diagonal brake system, lf and rr are paired off the master, not fronts and rears, so you have a problem with a leak in that circuit, or the master at the line ran dry...Pull up on the parking brakes, if the pedal height comes up, it's out of adjustment back there.
