leaking profusely from the back of engine. It is not the radiator or hoses or waterpump. I put water in while engine is off and it comes out in steady stream from the back of engine. I cannot see from where and was wonder what it could possibly be coming from. The engine runs fine. I dont know where the freeze plugs are on motor or engine coolant drain. Could it be a head gasket or cracked block? I just purchased and was told it was water pump but definitly is not.

Hi there,

You will need to get the car on a hoist and pressure test the cooling system, this will help locate the coolant leak.
