1988 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Automatic 166000 miles
I was driving my toyota camry and it suddenly stopped. I took it to toyota dealership and found out that the timing belt broke. They also found out that the oil seals for the Camshat and crankshaft need to be replaced because of oil leakage. They also told me that the fan belt needs to be replaced because it looks old and might not last that long.
so, they're charging me for:
to check it : $80
timing belt: $200
fan belt : $50
oil seals : $219
My question is does the pricing seem reasonable or could i find better deals, and is it necessary to change the oil seals and fan belt now, and will it effect the car again if i don't change them now.
thank you.
