What is the average cost of a complete brake job? Replace the entire system - pads, rear shoes, both wheel cylinders, braking system and flush brake system. I live in the Chicago area.

Its going to depend on how much rust you have and how long is it going to take to remove them wheel cylinders ,trying to get the bleeder to open may be a problem too
with out seeing it I would have to say start at $500
