why wont the check engine light go out after i changed the oxygen sensor

Need to have the code deleted. Either use diagnostic scanner to delete code or disconnect ground battery cable for 10 minutes then reconnect.

disconect the efi fuse for 20 sec. wich is in the engine room side to the battery 15amp fuse ( blue color )
