What is the best way to get to the rear plugs, I have approximately 215.000 miles on this car but the plugs was changed at 100,000. The dealer wants about 300 bucks to do the job. Is there something that I can do myself?

Yes, this is absolutely something a DIY'er can do...it all depends on your tools and skills.

Those rear plugs do require some work to get at. Chilton's states it as, "for access to the rear plugs on V6 engines, disconnect any hoses or components that would interfere with access and move them out of the way."

Yep, they can be a little tight working back there but it can be done, you will need to remove the ignition coils first, here are the instructions on how to do so in the image below.

The recommended spark plugs are typically NGK BKR6EKB-11 or Denso PK20TR11.

Both are platinum-tipped spark plugs, the spark plug gap is set to 0.044 inches (1.1 mm) for optimal performance.
