When my truck is cold, the steering makes a 'grinding' sound. It decraeses as weather or truck warmsup. The sound is only when I'm turning the steering wheel, not when I'm braking.
Dealer says it's brake pad sensors at 2mm causing it, but doesn't know why the noise decreases as it warms up. Braking doesn't make the noise, steering does.
Any ideas? He also says the brakes can wait, I have some time on those.
