1999 Toyotat 4runner, approximately 180,000 miles. Break light flickers off and on in the morning. Sometimes when breaking, get vibration, but not squeaking, seems to slip...
Mechanic says that the light has been flickering due to low brake fluid, and there is no evidence of the rotors being turned but they probably have been and they are below minimum requirements, need to be replaced along with break pads.
Rear brakes, one side has a linking cylcinder that leaked on the break pads, so the back is due for replacement too.
Total $720, how honest are they?
