My 1999 4Runner is having problems turning over. It currently has 110,000 miles on it and the check engine light has been on. According to diagnostics, the oxygen sensor in one of the banks needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if this turnover problem is related to this? Also, one thing i discovered is that it is possible for the oxygen sensor bolts to rust and break, so if you find your 4Runner making a noise like it needs a new muffler and your check engine light is on, that may be the problem.

Thanks!

What exactly do you mean by problems turning over.

Do you mean cranking it over or it cranks but no start
