1998 4runner Limited

Is it throwing an OBD2 code/s meaning the CEL/MIL/SES

You know what...I was never told what code/reading it was putting out. but i remember when i took it in the first time the mechanic told me that the only code it put out was that one of the spark plugs had carbon build up on it and he fixed it by cleaning it off. also, the third time i took it to the shop i actually let it shake until the check engine light came on and now it's starting to blink/flicker at me so i'm concerned more now than ever! please help. thanks.

The 1 cyl. is a misfire-now the CEL is back On-get it read and comeback with the code/s. My wild guess here it'll probably comeback with a random misfire-
