my 4 runner shakes in 4 wheel drive. and is very loud.

Hi there,
Check the condition of the front drive shaft universals and that they are securely bolted to the transmission and the diff flange, Is your car an independent front end? (A diff housing with visible drive shafts, not a rigid axle housing) if so also check for the same with these shafts and check the mounting bolts for the front diff housing, (not uncommon foe a mounting bolt to vibrate loose )
