What are the torque specs for spark plugs and turbo oil line replacement?

Hello. (The car listed above has a Turbo)

1. I have a leak at the Turbo Oil Line, Part#25198546v, that I would like to replace but don't know if it needs to be torqued and the specs. (E10 and T45)

Also, should the oil line be filled with oil, same oil when replacing?

2. I will be replacing the spark plugs with the same type and wanted to know the torque specs.

Also, conflicting views on whether there should be a grease like added to the thread or top of plug, different types for each of course, vs. not doing anything at all.

Hi,

As far as the oil feed pipe to the turbo, I attached torque specifications below in pic 1.

Pics 2 and 3 are the directions for spark plug replacement which include the torque specs.

As far as grease, it is a good idea to use dielectric grease between the ignition coil rubber boot and the spark plug. It's designed to guard electrical connections against moisture and corrosion.

As far as the threads that screw into the head, you can use an anti-seize. Its purpose is to help avoid corrosion and to allow the component to be easily removed in the future.

Thank you. Let me get prepared. Is there a need to somehow put oil in the oil feed line to the turbo? I hear that the engine will be loud the first few seconds after starting until that tube is filled to feed the turbo. Is that harmful if left empty?

Hi,

It will fill quickly. When first started, don't rev the engine. Allow it to idle for about 30 seconds before driving.

Also, make sure to double-check for leaks.
