Hi, I'm currently looking to purchase a torque wrench with an appropriate range. I was wondering what would be the Ft-Lb torque for the spark plug and the hex bolts that hold the air intake manifold down. Additionally, I was wondering is the intake manifold gasket is a thick orange gasket or if it is the black flat gasket. All for the 2007 Toyota highlander V6 3.3 AWD.

Thank you,

For the 2007 Toyota Highlander V6 3.3 AWD, here are the torque specifications you requested:

Spark Plug Torque: The recommended torque for the spark plugs is 13 ft-lbs (18 Nm).

Intake Manifold Hex Bolts Torque: The torque specification for the intake manifold hex bolts is 15 ft-lbs (20 Nm).

Regarding the intake manifold gasket, the 2007 Toyota Highlander V6 3.3 AWD typically uses a thick orange gasket. However, it's always recommended to visually inspect the gasket on your specific vehicle to confirm the color and style.

When working with torque specifications, it's important to use a reliable and calibrated torque wrench to ensure accurate torque application. Following the manufacturer's recommended torque values helps prevent damage to components and ensures proper sealing and functionality.
