Here are the directions and torque specs for your vehicle as well as the tightening sequence: Check out the diagrams (Below).

Cylinder head bolts
Step 1 .................... 50.0 Nm (5.1 kg-m, 37 ft. lbs.)
Step 2 .................... 60° clockwise
Step 3 .................... 0 Nm (0 kg-m, 0 ft. lbs.) (loosen)
Step 4 .................... 34.3 - 44.1 Nm (3.5 - 4.4 kg-m, 26 - 32 ft. lbs.)
Step 5 .................... 75° - 80° (target: 75°) clockwise
Step 6 .................... 75° - 80° (target: 75°) clockwise

^ Cylinder head bolts are tightened by plastic zone tightening method. Whenever the size difference between d1 and d2 exceeds the limit, replace the bolts with new ones.
^ If cylinder head bolts are re-used, check their outer diameters before installation.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Here is the instructions and some diagrams (below) to help you get the problem fixed.

Apply new engine oil to the threads and the seating surfaces of mounting bolts.

Tighten all bolts to 98.1 Nm (10 kg-m, 72 ft. lbs.) .
Completely loosen all bolts as shown in the figure.
Retighten all bolts to 34.3 - 44.1 Nm (3.5 - 4.4 kg-m, 26 - 32 ft. lbs.) .
Turn all bolts 75°- 80°degrees (target: 75°degrees) clockwise.

Keep in mind Nm stands for newton meters. It is just a different measurement scale then foot lbs.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken
