Torque for knock sensor

Here is the official procedure with torque specs:
Knock Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.

2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection See: Negative > Removal and Replacement > Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.

3. Remove the 2 intake manifold bracket bolts (2, 3).

4. Unclip the wiring harness.

5. Remove the intake manifold bracket (1).

6. Remove the sensor bolt (1).

7. Disconnect the wiring harness plug.

8. Remove the knock sensor (2) from the bracket (3).

Installation Procedure


1. Install the knock sensor (2) to the bracket (3).

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution See: Vehicle > Technician Safety Information > Fastener Caution

2. Install the sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

3. Connect the wiring harness plug.

4. Install the intake manifold bracket (1).

5. Clip in the wiring harness.

6. Install the 2 intake manifold bracket bolts (2, 3) and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

7. Connect the negative cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection See: Negative > Removal and Replacement > Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.

8. Close the hood.
