The tow truck driver says I need a new transmission how can I remove it?

Last week, I noticed my car shuddering when moving at low speed and when I was at a traffic light, the engine shut off. I was able to restart the car and drive while it continued to shudder at low speed (20-30 mph). Later when I started the car, the engine shut off as soon as I shifted the gear to R or D. The tow truck driver says I need a new transmission how can I remove it?

Please advice. Thanks.

Sounds like the steal belt is slipping in the CVT transmission.

Here is a video on how to remove a transmission. It is not exactly like yours but gives some good info.
