So, I was driving my truck, and was having some problems with starting. Would start than shut off, and then be fine. This went on for less than a week, i hooked it up to a scan tool and saw that the cats pressure was extremely high on startup (85-97%) as well a new lean code (usually it runs rich). I began driving and the truck would start bogging and wasn't able to go above 25-30 MPH before eventually cutting out completely well driving and now will not idle. I've switched the cam and crank position sensor as well as cut off the cat and cleaned the throttle body, but there has been no change.

Hi,

Since it has a lean fuel mixture, start by confirming the fuel pressure isn't too low. Here is a link that explains how to test pressure:

If you look below at pic 1, I included the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications. One other thought. Make sure there are no major vacuum leaks.

Let me know what you find and if there are any codes present.

Take care,

Joe
