I need one more digit for the code to be valid. Can you please recheck the code number and repost? I would check the fuses first, here is a guide to help:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Check fuse #2 in the TIPM and swap out the auto shutdown relay here is the location, the fuse should have power at all times, if not I have seen the TIPM go out and cause this problem which is common. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

How would you check the TIPM? I know the fuse is good and have swapped the relay with another one and no change where to go from here. Thanks for any and all help!

Changed out the relay cleared codes and scanned it showed no codes. After just a minute or two the check engine light came on and code U0101 TCM lost communication. Swapped out relay again and the same thing happened. Is it a bad TCM or a bad TIPM tripping the relay?

It is difficult to test the TIPM, but can I ask if the #2 fuse has power? If not the TIPM is bad. If so, I would replace the TCM. Here is the location. You might want to try unplugging and check the electrical connection for corrosion which can cause the problem. Then plug it in again to see if you had a bad connection. Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.

I haven't changed the TCM yet, with the TCM plugged up I have power on all wires range from 12 volts to 6 volts other than the ground and it ohm out good. Is that telling me the TCM is bad, still have no communication with the PCM code u0101?

It sounds like the TCM is bad, you can send it in for testing to be sure.
