I am currently running 245/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear tires. I want more tire for a softer ride. I put on Steeda Sport lowering springs 1" lower now. can I run something like 245/40/20 and 275/35/20 front and rear respectfully? I understand the middle number like the 40 and 35 numbers that can provide a softer ride I think. But I do not want the tires so tall that they rub the wheel wells. Please advise.

It would be more like 235/40/20 = 245/35/20 and 285/35/20 = 295/30/20 to maintain original height and circumference.

Do you mean original height and circumference of the 17" or 18" tires that came on it or to match what is on it now?
Thanks

It matters that the tires have the same original circumference as the tires the factory engineered it for.

My numbers matched the tire size you gave me. I do not know what it came with.
