Tire pressure sensor compatibility

Will my truck listed above SLE recognize 433mHz tire pressure sensors(OEM sensors for this vehicle are 315MHz)?

I installed OEM wheels/tires from a 2021 GMC Sierra Elevation onto my 2016 Sierra SLE. The sensors have been removed.

If the 2016 system will not recognize 433mhz sensors can I install the 315MHz sensors into the new tires and conduct the relearn process?

These sensors will not be picked up on this system. The different hertz readings are different for a reason and it simply operates on different wave lengths. Literally.

As for installing the other sensors on these wheels, that should work. The only issue you would have is if the style of these new wheels will not accept the sensor and the only way we are going to find this out is to install them. Unfortunately there is no cross reference on these to find out if they are compatible.

Below is the process for this if you need it but it doesn't sound like it. Let us know what questions you have.
