Problems removing the timing chain cover. Any secrets before I break it. Been trying to cut away at the RTV as much as possible and sprayed the gullies but day two no luck. Still trying to lift it up and then out.

Remove all the outside bolts there is one center bolt do not forget that one. Then All the oil pan bolts that go into the front cover. You have to slightly separate the oil pan away from the front cover it is not too bad. It is slot more tricky putting it back on. So are you replacing the timing chain?

I have a kit with the timing chain, sprockets, tensioner, and guides. I will keep working it from the pan then. It is my first time with a four cylinder apart like this. Thank you for the reply.
