Good evening,

Slips? Please explain.

You have a tensioner and a guide to keep it tight. What have you done so far?

Okay, then most likely the timing is way off on that side from either a failed guide or tensioner.

Most likely with this issue, you may have valve damage.

Does the engine run?

Took it a loose today and it's a lot of slack on the secondary chain (brand new) exhaust phaser going down the guide. but the tensioner side stays tight. could it be because i got it off Amazon for $140.00? but my Cloyes chain well be here Thursday.

You either have a guide or tensioner that is causing the slack. That is not normal.

Can you post some pictures?

The tensioner side is tight and the guide side is loose.

Is the tensioner fully extended? If it is, it will take up all the slack in the chain, not just on one side. Sounds like you have a bad tensioner.

Think it was just a cheap chain didn't think $150.00 was cheap but compared to $330.00 Cloye's chain seem way tighter haven't turn it over but there's a difference in chain length Cloye's was 1/4 smaller.
