I have the car listed above that the timing belt went on. I have found conflicting reports online whether it is an interference, or non interference engine. I did try to crank the engine several times after it shut off on me. Is it possible that I damaged valves or any other mechanical parts?

good evening.

Yes, it is listed as an interference engine. the easy way to tell is to remove the plugs and use a boroscope to look in the cylinders and see if you see any bent valves.

if you have a shop looking at the car, have them check it first before attempting any repairs.

They could also do a leak-down test to look for valve damage. If the engine was rotated with a broken belt, you can be confident it has engine damage.
