I just recently changed the head gaskets and once I got it done and everything put back together I went to start it and now the timing is of. How can I get that set right.

Hello,

The first thing I need to ask is if the car will start? If the car will start, does it backfire or sputter? If it does start, I would suggest also checking your spark plug wires to make sure they are attached to the proper ports on the distributor cap.

If the car does not start, your timing marks may be off. I have attached some images for you of timing mark locations. The unfortunate part is that you will need to take all the components off to get back to the point you can safely remove the timing belt. At that point, even if it is a brand new belt, I would recommend very closely examining the belt for any missing or damaged teeth. If there is any damage to any of the teeth on the belt, replace it.

Additionally, did you replace the timing idler and tension-er pulleys? If not, I would recommend doing so in order to lessen the likelihood that you will have to redo the job again in about six months.

Keep me posted on what happens, and if you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to post them!

Well, mechanics I took it to said the lights that has to do with one of the sensors to the supercharger, yet this is still not fixed the TCI light comes on the dash and it falls on its face. you can turn the key off and back on and go after so many miles 5 miles it will do the same thing.

UNPLUGGED are you the same person as SSETTERHOL that posted the original question? because I see nothing posted on TCI light? Let's start over here and what is the original concern? Do you need timing marks because WILLIAM CRABTREE and Motor Master posted the diagram? If you have a specific code can you please post it so we can look into please.
