How to set the timing?

I need to be sure timing is right on the motor. Do i get to TDC make sure number 1 plug is there and put back together and start it?

Hi,

No, that won't work. When you place the crank pulley on top dead center, the number one cylinder will be at TDC. You need to time the camshafts with the crankshaft.

If you look below, I provided the directions for removing and replacing the timing belt. The directions for alignment and pics are included.
