I'm getting a ticking sound from the bottom of the engine, it sounds like metal hitting metal and to me it sounds like it's coming from inside the oil pan, I'm not sure that's just my guess. The sound speeds up and down with the rpm's and it does it no matter what gear its in even when idling. Any thoughts on what Could be going on here.

might be a rod bearing, if you can disconnect on spark plug at a time and if it goes away it will tell you which cylinder to check. could be a piston though as well.

I did as you said but could still hear the noise. Is it possible that something is hitting the inside of the oil pan? When I started it the noise was gone but after about 3 minutes it came back.

it cold be something like a timing chain tensioner making the noise sounding like it's coming from pan. best case here is to have this checked locally as we cannot give a good diagnosis for noises.

obviously this has been worked on and you omitted that so it makes us hard to guess on stuff just happening.

First of all I didn't do any work on this car until it was brought to my attention ok. So don't jump to conclusions and say I caused the problem.

I didn't say you caused the problem when we have to guess on noises we have to try cover every angle.
