Engine has a bad ticking sound?

Engine has a bad tick in the timing change oil pump area but is not the lifters. Motor was just put in truck with a high volume oil pump installed.

Did the noise start when the oil pump when installed? If so, it could be the oil pump mounting bolts are loose or stripped out. I can tell for sure if you upload a short video of the noise. Also, you can remove the serpentine belt and start the engine for a second to see if the noise stops, this will rule out any of the engine accessories. Please let us know what happens.
